The Golfing for Schools Excellence in Education Golf Cards are now on sale!
The Golf Cards cost $325 and are good for one round of golf at the following great local golf courses: Old Greenwood, Coyote Moon, Gray’s Crossing, Northstar, Resort at Squaw Creek, Tahoe City Golf Course and Tahoe Donner. Do the math on a round of golf at each of these golf courses and you will quickly see the value. 275 lucky people saw the value last year as the cards sold out within weeks. There are only 275 cards and then they are sold out. They are currently on sale by going to www.ExinEd.org. Some restrictions apply and carts are not included but walking is allowed. All sales are on-line. Sorry for the delay in this announcement as the cards are already halfway towards sell-out.
Excellence in Education is a non-profit organization in place to enhance public education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Each year the foundation raises money and provides grants and resources to benefit students, teachers and the educational community as a whole. Yours truly is a board member. I serve as the Golfing for Schools Chair on the Excellence in Education Board. Last year we raised over $80,000 with the Golfing for Schools cards alone. Approximately $161,000 went back to the schools in grants for the 2014-2015 school year. Ex in Ed grants operate off of a $2 million dollar endowment and then there is yearly fundraising led by Golfing for Schools. I am very proud to be part of an organization that flat out produces results.
