For 2014 the total sales volume for Northstar was $95 million. This includes all homes, townhomes and condos among the 99 sales making up this number. Squaw Valley’s total 2014 sales were $48 million with 52 sales. The average home price in Northstar was $907,000 with a median of $813,000 from 36 sales. For Squaw Valley the average sold home price was $1.779 million with a median of $1.51 million from 16 sales. The Village at Northstar had 9 sales in 2014. The Village at Squaw including the Squaw Lodge experienced 18 sales. Northstar Mountainside comprised of Home Run and the Ritz Carlton had 19 sales with an average say price of $2.148 million and a median of $2.1. There isn’t anything at Squaw to try and compare apples to apples to Mountainside. The Mountainside sales make up the bulk of the difference in the total sales volume between the two ski resort areas.
